An avid reader, writer, and fledgling visual artist, I continued these pursuits through art courses and a major in English Literature at
University of Maryland, College Park.

This was spec work created for a cryptocurrency start-up in Berlin. The purpose of the app is to help newcomers better understand the space by creating a database of information on currencies available in the market. I created these simple mock-ups based on a conversation with the two founders about their ideas for entering the advertising phase.

I physically sketched and then digitally recreated this design for use on a personalized t-shirt. The client did not provide a specific reference, but we discussed the energy and feel of the piece and I worked to replicate that concept with my own research.

The client requested fun, punchy ad copy for an upcoming campaign on Facebook. They emphasized the use of social media humor and emojis in a previously-run example and I attempted to emulate and augment that feeling here.

This piece was inspired by women in my family and friend circle that found a family and found themselves in Greek organizations.
The design is meant to invoke black sisterhood and the comfort and peace community brings.

I created the sketch this art was based on when SZA's Good Days was released. The art uses the visual motif of the music video, but presents the carefree ideal the song talks about struggling to maintain. It imagines that level of space and peace.
